Why this model mixes honey with her cleanser

Hi Becky, where were you born? I was born in Nebraska.

Can you tell us some memories you have of Nebraska? Actually, my dad was in the military so we were constantly on the move and that's my earliest memory really - moving.

Tell us about what you do here in Seoul. I'm a professional model and radio DJ. Modelling, I've been doing for about two and a half years and presenting, I've been doing since I was asked to guest on this show. The producer liked my voice and asked me on to this other show so I kind of fell into it.

Why did you come to Seoul? Well, I am really passionate about human trafficking, especially on the issue of North Korean men and women who are virtually sold into modernday slavery. I hope I'll be able to shine a light on it one day and that's the main reason I felt compelled to come here.

Now on to looking after yourself, what type of skin do you have? It's combination.

How do you look after your skin? I always double cleanse. I use coconut oil first and follow it up with my trusty Pureness foaming facial cleanser. It contains rose geranium and Clary Sage. Then, to get rid of any residue, I soak a cotton pad with my Siam Seas Yen Heal and Hydrate toner. If I feel any pimples coming up or if they’ve reared their head, I’ll spot treat with Aromatica Tea Tree Green Oil. Lastly, my Lush Enzymion moisturiser to seal it all in!

I also like to make an exfoliating mask using my SRB Enzyme Powder Wash, which is a really gentle rice-based cleanser. I mix it with some honey so it gets gooey and viscous and leave it on for about five minutes. It makes me skin so bright and smooth.

Can you show us a particular skin tip? Sure, I can show you how to make a brightening mask using the SRB cleanser. Here, instead of honey, I'm using water, which also works really well.

Lastly - Seoul. Any tips on how to get an authentically Korean experience? Hmm, I would recommend venture out of Seoul. Seoul is great but there are quite a lot of tourists so a place that's like Anyang or a less built up city can be interesting to get a very non-showy view of the country.
